Toral Fadia, M.D.
Toral Fadia, M.D. treats individuals and families with a collaborative approach. She has treated adults, children, and adolescents in a variety of settings, including private practice, outpatient clinics, inpatient units and day treatment centers. She is board certified in general psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr. Fadia has experience in addressing a variety of disorders, including ADHD, Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety disorders, Mood disorders, and Psychotic disorders. She employs a variety of therapeutic techniques as well as medication, if needed. She has a particular interest in mindfulness-based therapies and brings a bright, energetic, and compassionate approach to all her patients.
Dr. Fadia is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from the honors program at the University of Florida with a B.S. in microbiology and minors in chemistry and religion and then, attended St. George’s University School of Medicine. After finishing her general psychiatry residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, she went on to complete her first year of child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY. After moving to be with her husband in North Carolina, she completed her final year of child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at East Carolina University.
